Convention: Olympia One

We usually go to second Olympia but this year went to Olympia 1. It was such a perfect convention. There were a lot of people there; this was a much bigger convention than second Olympia usually is.
Dakota was looking smashing in his little black suit. He especially enjoyed going for walks between meetings with Grandpa. Because Grandpa is tall enough to reach the best blackberries!

Marina was glad to get to have her best friends Missy and Megan with her. She got to sit next to Megan the whole time and they slept together in the dorms too. There were a lot of young people and children at the convention. Here we tried to round up as many of them as possible for a big picture. Marina is standing next to Megan and Dakota is sitting next to his buddies Devin and Levi... can you find them?

I was also excited to see my cousin Rosemaree and to finally see the new baby Deacon! He is so cute. He's kind of a wiry little guy- no chunky rolls on him like my kids had. What a good little guy.

Here's big sister Cecee!A few gems I especially enjoyed:

Psalm 84:10 - "I had rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my God than to dwell in the tents of wickedness." The tents of wickedness are not labeled that; they're labeled "I want."

There is a remarkable difference between separation and isolation. God doesn't ask his people to be isolated.

When we say "yes" and bring our all to the storehouse it doesn't add much to the storehouse but it does bring us to the storehouse where all provision is.

The vessel can only be in the hand of one potter at a time.
